    境内石油和天然气资源储量丰富，是胜利油田主要采油区之一。1967年，国家开
始在境内进行石油开采，并建立指挥系统。1985年，建有滨南采油厂和油田建设第二
指挥部两个二级单位及滨州输油公司、钻井六分公司等分支机构。已发现油田18个，
探明石油储量约6.03亿吨，天然气储量约83.72亿立方米，已投入开发的油田10个，
分布在滨州市和沾化、博兴、高青等县。
