城东有铁冶提举司旧址，古产铁，元延祐迄明末，开采已尽，今
无。
东南二乡间有产煤处，不时开采，仅代柴薪，无佳者。
城北乡马鞍山，新出白砂石，内包小石，有如马牙，含水晶色，兼有红色者，其质晶莹，
可供磁料，附近村人采运博山玻璃公司，颇获利。
矿物制造有锡器、铁器。
