    1955年元且，举办全县首届美术展览。嗣后，几乎每年都举办展览，有时一年中
举办几次，内容也越来越广泛。近年来，规模最大的是庆祝莱芜战役胜利40周年展览，
在全国范围内征集书画作品200多幅。 莱芜市书法协会、莱芜市青年书法协会成立以
来亦多次举办书画展览。
