    1969年9月，莱芜汽车修制厂试制成功5吨载重汽车，山东省革命委员会主任、济
南军区司令员杨得志命名为东方红牌。1970年投入批量生产。
    1971年，新型5吨载重汽车泰山牌试制成功。1972年5月投入批量生产，同时停产
东方红车。
    1981年10月起专制改装车， 先后投产的有10吨、20吨、40吨半挂车，10吨、5吨
零担车，10吨平板车。1987年，主要生产设备有208台，其中金属切削机床129台 (大
型机床9台、高精密机床3台) 、锻压设备26台、台钻及砂轮抛光机53台。历年汽车产
量见表18一28。
