    1959年， 县副食品公司加工厂配备小型冷冻机， 在暑期生产冰糕，日产万支。
1972年扩建为冷饮车间，增设15万大卡冷冻机1台、30平方米冷库1座，日产冰糕10万
支。进入80年代后，莱芜钢铁厂、张家洼矿山公司及市内多家企事业单位从事冰糕生
产，既供应本单位饮用，又向社会出售。冰糕产量，1985年38吨，1987年50吨 。
    汽水及其它冷饮品1982年始有生产者，主要集中在城区、城子坡和张家洼等乡镇。
1984-1987年，年产5吨。
