　　1996年，市旅游局以强化行业管理职能、抓好旅游资源的调查研究、规划开发为重点，进一步解放思想，把握机遇，开拓创新，使市旅游局各项工作得到进一步加强。全年共接待海外游客10200人次，创汇344.25万美元；接待国内游客302人万次，回笼货币4.7亿元。
