    汾水镇辖32个行政村，3.1万人，土地面积42平方公里，全镇海岸线长3公里。近年来，镇党委、政府紧紧围绕“农、工、商三业并举，两个文明全面发展”的总体工作思路，抓住机遇，加快发展，综合经济实力不断增强，1998年全镇实现社会总产值15亿元，农业总产值1.8亿元，第二产业完成产值5.8亿元，第三产业创产值7.4亿元。人民生活水平有了较大提高，1998年全镇农民人均纯收入达到2990元。自1996年以来，连续3年在全市乡镇领导（班子）位次考核中被评为“红旗单位”。
