威海市物价局1980年3月从威海市计划委析出，正式对外办公。1987年10月，改称威海市环翠区物价局，1993年6月撤销，其职能合并到区工商行政管理局。1996年3月，环翠区物价局重新成立，1998年3月与区计划委员会合署办公。
