    乳山市海岸线东起浪暖口，西至乳山口，全长185.6公里。沿海有大小港湾12个，
岬角9处，岛屿13个，较大岩礁10处。
    海岸类型以沙质岸为主，由东往西大体可分为三个岸段: 白沙口以东，大部分为
沙质岸， 潮间带300～1000米，因受风浪冲击，滩面不够稳定；白沙口以西至蒲岛为
岩岸，大部分海岸坡度较陡，多岩礁，潮间带100～500米；小泓至杜家岛内湾和乳山
口内湾为泥质岸，潮间带300～2000米左右,滩面较稳定，底质大部分是软泥、泥沙，
少部分为沙质。
