    泰安地处齐鲁腹地，民风淳厚。见义勇为、尊老扶弱、扶危济困、拾金不昧等传统美德蔚然成风，备受尊崇。特别是1985年以来，当地政府大力倡树社会新风，广泛开展社会公德、职业道德、家庭伦理道德“三德”教育和塑造社会主义新人的系列活动，传统美德得到发扬光大，好人好事不断涌现。本章采录的事例仅可窥其一斑。
