    建国后，路政管理由专区公路段承担。50年代，推行既是养路员，又是交通秩
序管理员、安全宣传员的管理方法，发动养路工人和群众养路员参加路政管理。
1957年7月，泰安交通安全委员会成立后，经常宣传有关路政的各种规定，及时清
理公路上的违章建筑物。1984年，市公路管理站有专职公路管理员2人、宣传车1辆，
干线公路设置交通标志牌52块。
