    1942年，日伪政府在泰山西溪兴建黑龙潭水库(小二型)，此为境内水库建设之
始。建国后，从1956年兴建虎山水库和满庄龙门涧水库开始，至1978年共兴建大小
水库158座，其中中型水库7座、小(一)型水库22座、小(二)型水库129座，总库容3.
98亿立方米，兴利库容2.28亿立方米，设计灌溉面积63.37万亩，有效灌溉面积31
.88万亩。1982年12月，对境内水库进行了“三查三定”(即查安全、查效益、查综
合经营，定标准、定措施、定发展计划)，查明有6座中型水库、20座小(一)型水库、
70余座小(二)型水库，不同程度地存有病、险因素，对黄前、大河、徂徕、李子峪、
胜利5座水库进行了大坝灌浆，灌入干土4907立方米，基本上解除了水库险情。
