    1756年(清乾隆二十一年)境内农业用地为225.78万亩。1933年为202.06万亩，
人均2.23亩。后因区划变动，1949年耕地面积为151.1万亩，人均2.15亩；1957年
为155.2万亩，人均1.96亩。从60年代开始，因工矿、机关及人口增多，城镇、乡
村建筑规模扩大，以及公路、铁路、水库建设占压等原因，农业用地剧减。1965年
耕地面积为135.67万亩,人均1.5亩。1975年为129.64万亩，人均1.19亩。至1984年
耕地面积减至123.33万亩，比1949年减少27.77万亩，人均耕地1.1亩，比1949年减
少1.05亩。
