    东起莱芜市常庄站东70公里处，经苗山、莱芜东、范镇等11站至泰安站止，在
境长91.75公里。有联络线4段计6.18公里。该段于1970年4月施工，1974年7月建成
通车，年底正式投入运营。为Ⅰ级单线，43中/25钢轨，钢筋水泥轨枕，最大坡度8.
5‰,最小曲线半径500米,到发线有效长840米,桥梁载重为中-22级。列车通过能力，
辛莱段23对，泰莱段24.5对。近期设计运量，辛莱段上行423万吨，下行617万吨；
泰莱段上行200万吨，下行930万吨。
