    平原主要分布于山麓之间和大汶河沿岸地区，多为山前冲积、洪积平原和河谷
平原，海拔高度一般在60～120米之间。总面积3295.8平方公里，占全区总面积的
26％，其中泰莱肥宁平原面积2158.75平方公里，占全区平原总面积的65.5％。其
次有西部的汶阳平原，位于大清河以南、东平湖以东的湖东平原，新泰盆地和汶泗
平原等,总面积1137.1平方公里,约占全区平原总面积的34.5％。
