    开皇三年（５８３年），隋文帝自称“通征屡感”，诏令以泰山朗公寺扩建为神
通寺。

    开皇十五年（５９５年）正月，文帝在泰山设坛，柴燎祭天，亲祀青帝，未登山
而还。

    大业七年（６１１年），在岱阴建四门塔（今历城区柳埠镇境）。此为中国现存最
古老的单层石塔之一。

    大业九年（６１３年），王薄在长白山（今邹平县北）聚众１０万余，转战齐鲁，与
齐郡（今济南市）丞张须陀在泰山下激战。王薄轻敌失利，义军伤亡甚重。
