    黄石崖西北有香泉，俗称薄湾，池水甘冽。右有浅沟峪，谷口东
北为牛角洞。沟东北有湘子洞，传为韩湘子修真处。西北为映霞峰，上有傅老
庵故址。再西北为猛虎沟，又名斗虎涧、老虎沟。传为孔子慨叹“苛政猛于虎
也”之处。
    沟西侧为河上林，旧时多桃树林。沟至青天岭谷口西南折，下有断崖叠瀑
，飞流注入石窟，西纳白草谷之水，名大海眼。西为幞头岩，今讹为蒲头岩。
