    西溪谷口天外村至中天门为登山西路，全程１４．３５公里。公路建于１
９８０年，原为土石路面，１９８５年改造为水泥路面，增设护栏。旅游汽车
由泰安火车站经此可直达中天门。
    西溪旷达幽奥，峻峰簇拥，树木荫翳，泉清石奇。有庙宇２处，碑碣３３
块，摩崖刻石７３处。
