    改革开放后，济宁市持续加大农村经济改革力度，广大农民生产积极性得到激发。进入新世纪新阶段，中央实行“多予、少取、放活”方针，不断出台支农惠农政策，彻底取消农业税和农业特产税，对粮食种植业实施直接补贴、良种补贴、农机具购置补贴和农业生产资料综合补贴“四补贴”政策，对主要粮食品种实行保护价收购，为济宁市农业生产持续稳定增长，农业经济快速发展提供了政策保障和支持。
