    进入九十年代，尤其1992年邓小平“南方谈话”之后，济宁市改革开放持续深化，宏观经济政策不断加强完善，市场对资源配置基础性作用不断巩固提升，国民经济取得令人瞩目的成就。1991—2010年，GDP年均增长14.5%，人民生活水平显著提高，为全面建成小康社会、基本实现现代化奠定了坚实基础。
