    “民兵”最早出现于宋朝的乡兵。晚清时期的团练、民团，国民党统治时期
的民众自卫队也是民兵。在中国共产党领导下的长期武装斗争中，民兵是一支重
要的武装力量。现今，我国实行的仍是野战军、地方部队和民兵三结合的武装力
量体制。
