    1969年12月，烟台地区国防工业办公室设无线电工业组。1974年10月，国防工业办公室撤销，成立烟台地区工交办公室，内设电子工业组。1976年4月，烟台地区革委会电子工业局成立，下设办事组、生产计划组、供销组。1978年，改称烟台行署电子工业局，增设技术组。1980年1月，改
称烟台地区电子工业局。1983年11月组建烟台市电子工业公司，下设办公室、企业整顿办公室、生产计划科、供销科、技术科、新品科、财务科、劳资科、政工科等科室。
