    枣庄市是多民族聚居的地区。1953年7月1日全市总人口为1473217人，其中汉族1468302人，回族4908
人， 满族7人。 少数民族人口占总人口的0.34％。 1964年7月1日全市总人口为1900692人，  其中汉族1
892751人，回族7878人，满族42人，苗族10人，蒙古族3人，白族1人，朝鲜族3人，
    侗族1人。少数民族共有7938人，占总人口的0.41％。1982年7月1日全市总人口2722504人，其中汉族
2710919人，回族11 403人，蒙古族19人，满族85人，苗族19人，藏族2人，朝鲜族18人，维吾尔族1人，
彝族5人，壮族6人，布依族4人，白族6人，土家族4人，哈尼族6人，高山族3人，土族1人，毛难族1人。
少数民族共11583人，占总人口的0.42％。
