    1975年建立市交警大队至1979年，交通事故由市交警大队与市交通监理所共同协商处理。其间共
处理交通事故998起，其中追查处理责任事故驾驶员561人。1979年底至1985年，市中区辖区内发生的交
通事故，由市交警大队负责处理，其他区县内凡建立交警中队的，在区县驻地发生的交通事故，由交
警中队处理。凡在公路上发生的交通事故，都由交通监理部门处理。
