    青岛历年发生龙卷风的机会较少。1959年6月21日13时许,龙卷风袭击青岛铁路分
局塔耳堡站,风暴骤至,尘烟淹没了车站,使守车、货车各一辆被颠覆,同时卷倒铁路沿
线电线杆30余根, 造成通讯中断。1987年7月10日和8月15日,即墨、平度、莱西有8个
乡镇遭受龙卷风袭击,损坏房屋2700间,受灾农田2万余亩,并有6人受伤。
