    德国侵占青岛末期,曾设胶州测候所,属皇家青岛观象台辖。日本第一次侵占时期,
为调查收集山东气候变化, 1918年亦在胶州等处设测候所。南京国民政府第一次统治
青岛末期, 1937年5月曾设红石崖雨量站。建国后,1959年1月1日设胶县气象站。原站
址在胶县城北大庄后。1977年1月1日迁站至胶县城南关,其地理位置在北纬36°16′、
东经120°00′。观测场海拔高度为12.4米,气压水银槽高度为13.5米。
