    该站原为临时流动站。1982年,市南区供应站用户超过10 724户,每天换气用户络
绎不绝,远在团岛的用户换气更不方便。中共青岛市委、市人民政府对此极为重视,要
求尽快设站解决群众困难。市煤气公司采取应急措施, 在团岛设立临时流动站。1983
年7月选址团岛填海地建设临时换气站,同年8月25日换气站投入使用。该站占地2 260
平方米,建筑面积384平方米,投资34万余元,负责中山路以西团岛地区6 470户用户。
1990年,根据前海工程总体规划,该站临时迁移。
