      青岛的夏季气候凉爽,自20世纪30年代起就成为避暑胜地。
<br>    70年代后期,夏季游客与日剧增,为丰富夏夜文化娱乐活动,自1987年起,市政
府决定在中山公园内举办青岛之夏艺术灯会活动。青岛之夏艺术灯会举办以来参观的
游客,1987年为45万人次,1988年为60万人次,1989年为30万人次,1990年为20万人次。
