    1976年，平度县革命委员会成立对外贸易局。1981年，更名为平度县对外贸易局。
1984年4月，撤销了县对外贸易局，将其并入县对外贸易综合公司。1988年4月，建立
平度县对外经济贸易委员会。 1989年7月27日，随着撤县设市，更名为平度市对外经
济贸易委员会，与青岛市平度进出口公司合署办公，对外挂两个牌子。
