    位于北纬35°53′41.6″,东经120°11′35.2″,面积0.0175平方公里,最高点海
拔10.6米。中连岛为中连岛群的主岛,中连岛群由外连、中连、里连、连子四岛组成,
四个岛低潮时互相连通, 且与陆地相连,高潮时成为四个独立的海岛。该岛土层较厚,
岛上长有黑松400余棵, 其余是刺槐等,各种山草生长繁茂,植被覆盖面积约60%。岛上
有一条环岛小路,无淡水源。
