    该地貌类型虽分布广泛, 但规模较小。主要分布在胶州湾、丁字湾及崂山湾的沿
岸低平地区。海积平原的分布高程, 一般在海拔5米以内,但个别地段,如潮海附近,可
达6米左右。海积平原地势平坦, 地貌单调。前缘直接与潮间浅滩相接,内侧多与冲积
平原及洪积冲积平原相接。地表盐渍化严重,部分地段地势较低洼,如桃源河下游两侧
及林家段河附近等,以及沿岸有海滨湿地、芦草丛生的大片积水小型洼地。
