    齐王田横的五百义士在此自刎就义而得名。该岛位于崂山湾北侧, 北纬36°25′
09″,东经120°57′42″。面积约1.3平方公里,是青岛市第二大岛。最高点海拔54.5
米。周围有牛岛、驴岛、马龙岛、猪岛、车岛、涨岛、赭岛和水岛, 构成星罗棋布的
岛群。岛上有滩涂1200亩,淡水资源丰富。
