    青岛市共有易涝面积272.79万亩， 占耕地总面积的27.69％。主要分布在莱西县
西南部、即墨县西北部、胶州市北部以及平度县西南部。建国前，这些洼涝区十年九
不收，百姓饥寒交迫。建国后，经过近40年治理，已除涝254.96万亩，占易涝面积的
93.46％， 其中达到5年以上标准的234.56万亩，占易涝面积的85.49％。到1987年，
洼区已是旧貌换新颜，成为高产的米粮川。
