    建国以后，青岛市在水土保持方面做了大量工作。到1987年底，共修建水平梯田
144.52万亩，沟坝地2.23万亩，水土保持林141.37万亩，种草2.31万亩，采取其他措
施226.17万亩， 建水库塘坝3641座，谷坊2万余座。除重点治理山丘区外，还在平原
区大搞林粮间作、洼涝改造和整地改土，这些措施对于防风固沙、保持水土，涵养水
源和发展农业生产都发挥了重要作用。与此同时，历时年余的全市水土保持普查工作
也为进一步治理水土流失提供了科学的依据。
