    河道桥闸，古即有之。建国后，随着交通事业和水利事业的兴旺发达，河道桥闸
的数量大幅度增加，且规模增大，设计更新，质量更好，方便了交通，促进了工农业
的发展。 至1987年，全市主要河道共有各类跨河桥433座，主要拦河闸56座。城镇及
乡间的小型桥梁、涵闸遍布境内，可以万计。
