    自清末民初开始，济南地区先后出现过各种不同类型的苗圃。至1985年，仅市属
园林苗圃即达5处之多，培育100多个品种，每年可为城市绿化提供苗木40万株；育苗
专业户4702户，育苗面积1125公顷，占全市育苗总面积的50％；集体性质的苗圃尚有
10余处，其中经营较好的有鹊山林场苗圃、董家苗圃和滩头苗圃。
