    清末儒学的教学内容,以“四书”、“五经”、“策论”等为主,但每天要讲《大
清律》及《钱谷要者》若干条。每月全体生员须集中于明伦堂背诵《训饬士子文》,
并环绕教官周围听讲。
    府学、县学均设武科,除学骑射外,另教以“武经”、“七书”、《百将传》、《
孝经》及“四书”等。每3年考试1次,考试分内外场,先外场骑射,次内场策论,岁试一
、二等者“准作科举”。
    教学方法一般有聚讲和考核两种,辅以学生之间相互研究问答。考核分月考、季
考,晚清时期月考渐不举行。
