试办虹吸引黄工程成功后，济南市的引黄灌溉工程始渐兴起，由虹吸管过渡到引黄闸。
引黄灌溉工程对改造盐碱洼地，推行稻改，改善人民生活，取得显著成果，为开拓济
南水源，也发挥了重要作用。(详见本卷《黄河修防篇》)
