　　半岛北部无棣、沾化县海生贝壳资源极为丰富，现已查明三条具有经济价值的
贝壳堤。经对无棣县境内旺子、高坨子、姬家铺、大扣河东沙嘴和西沙嘴5个富集
区的初探，其储量达722万立方米，约1010.8万吨。近年在黄河口一带发现的几条
埋藏浅、富含淡水的古贝壳堤，经初步估算贝壳储量达2000万吨以上。这些现代或
古代的海生贝壳为成份较纯的生物碳酸钙，质优的可制作白水泥的原料，劣质的可
用来加工饲料等。
