    体长7～11厘米，甲壳很薄，体表面有许多凹下部分，上生短毛。 全体遍布棕
兰色斑点，尾肢末端棕褐色，边缘红色。生活于泥沙底浅海。6～8月间在较浅处产
卵。分布于山东半岛以南沿海。定置网及底拖网均可捕获。体肥肉嫩，为虾中上品。
可鲜食及干制虾米。山东省文登、乳山至胶南、日照沿岸均有分布，但产量不多。
