    藻体是由许多藻丝组成，蓝绿色，通常为球形、半球形或扁平胶质状，直径通
常为1～2厘米，幼期中实，后变为中空，藻体表面幼期光滑，后来变为凹凸不平。
通常生长在中潮带上部岩石块上。山东沿海都有生长。是沿海人民喜欢食用的海藻
之一。
