　　民国年间，山东省伊斯兰教界有山东省回教公会、山东省回教协会等。国民党
政府不承认回回为一民族而称之“回教徒”，因而所谓“回教”团体并非单纯宗教
团体。1964-1990年，山东省伊斯兰教界陆续成立全省性宗教团体1个，地、市伊斯
兰教协会6个，县(市、区)伊斯兰教协会19个。
