　　山东基督教自立活动发端于1885年。迄1946年，青岛、烟台、潍县、海阳、栖
霞、即墨、平原、禹城、恩县、济宁、聊城等地自立会约20处。自立会致力使基督
教从形式上、人事上和思想上逐步实现中国化和民族化，建造中国式教堂，采用自
己创作的赞美诗歌和民族曲调，制订适合本地特点的教会礼仪，培养自己的教会领
袖和教务人才。
