　　1951年山东省天主教会停止接受外国修会津贴，经济上实行自养。教会主要经
费来源为教会房产租金、教徒自愿奉献、自养事业收入。
　　1950-1966年，济南、青岛、周村等地天主教会开办印刷所、棉织厂、被服厂
或联合进行种植蔬菜、养牛、养蜂等副业生产。
　　1985年以来，青岛、潍坊、淄博市的天主教会兴办旅社、公寓、皮鞋厂以及联
营服务公司。1990年各教区自养问题基本解决。
