    新中国成立后，随着经济建设事业的发展，许多省、市都要求山东支援技术人
员和工人。1956年，从社会上招收、调配了8160名各类人员，赴15个省、市参加生
产建设。1958年，又招收114294名技壮工，赴21个省、市、自治区参加生产建设。
60年代初，调配各类技工319名赴西藏工作，并从济南、青岛、烟台、潍坊、淄博、
德州6市招收200 名高考落榜生充实新疆文化教育和冶金工业部门的工作。 此外，
1958年“大跃进”中，还调配了11.43万名技壮工赴21个省、市、区参加生产建设。
