    1958年7月，山东、福建两省商定，由山东负责动员2万名壮工，赴福建支援采
伐木材，从山东省直属各厅局抽调干部40名，组建赴闽民工工作办公室，具体负责
组织选送。从泰安、济宁、昌潍、莱阳、惠民、临沂、聊城、菏泽等8 个地区动员
民工19717人，抽调带队干部147人，医务人员64人，9月陆续赴闽；10月又从临沂、
菏泽两地区各动员壮工2000名赴闽。1960年12月，按照自愿原则，组织部分民工家
属迁往福建。1961年3月，从基本建设系统抽调工人4711名，赴福建采伐木材。
