　　省人口学会于1980年成立，会长程毅川，理事71人。1985年改选，省计划生育
委员会副主任陈兆霞任会长，王仲坤为顾问，赵玉贵、郭云普、杨光锐、朱敖荣为
副会长,理事77人。学会的任务是：
　　一、开展学术交流，举办学术讨论会、报告会、讲座，组织专题人口学术研究；
　　二、组织学会成员深入基层进行调查研究，普及人口理论，宣传优生优育知识；
　　三、与有关单位协作，编辑出版人口学会刊物、资料；
　　四、向政府和有关部门提出意见和建议。
