    １９８３年２月２４日，山东省出版局
改称山东人民出版社，仍为厅局级事业单位。同年１２月１９日，山东省人民
政府下达文件，确定成立山东省出版管理处，设于山东人民出版社内，负责全
省出版物的管理工作。１９８４年７月５日，山东人民出版社改为山东省出版
总社，仍设有山东省出版管理处，受省人民政府委托，行使全省出版行政管理
职能。
