虎臣，有店员四五人。始为笔墨店。为推销毛笔，焦经常到上海，回来时则贩
回书籍。除四书五经外，还经营各种小说，如《三国演义》、《水浒传》、《
封神演义》、《官场现形记》、《二十年目睹之怪现状》和《九尾龟》等。１
９２８年歇业。
