　　１９８９年４月，山东人民广播电台应听众要求，与苏州大学外语函授中
心联合举办了以函授英语为主的《空中课堂》节目，学制二年，教材由苏州大
学提供，分上下两册，学完上册，经考试合格（一年时间），相当于大学公共
外语二级水平；学完下册，经考试合格（一年时间），相当于本科公共外语四
级水平，发给结业证书。上册，全省共招收学员３６００多人，经一年的学习
、考试，到１９９０年底，领到结业证书的有１０５５人，为社会培养了一批
专业人才。下册，已招收学员１７００多人，１９９０年暑期开学。
